Be reasonable with task management goals and time yourself going through tasks first before creating a countdown. Email is the most important area of batching, so choose one-to-three periods throughout the day to completely go through your inbox. Gmail and Gsuite have features that can help with this, such as a split-pane view to see all new emails on one side. To effectively batch email, go through every single email that you possibly can. If you are creating several similar images, consider doing them all at once. If you have an editorial calendar with assigned blog post titles, create the featured images for each post ahead of time so the writer and editor don't have to wait on the designer to finish each individual image.
