The Condominium Act prohibits certain nuisances, including unreasonable noise and other prescribed nuisances such as odor, smoke, vapor, light, and vibration. Disputes related to such nuisances fall within the jurisdiction of the CAT, according to Regulation 179/17. In the case of Nikolov v. Halton Standard Condominium Corporation No. 476, the CAT ordered the corporation to replace a security light on the common elements that was causing an unreasonable nuisance to an owner.
