Product Update: Improved Calendar And List Customization

ProjectManager.com has released a September release that focuses on two big areas: the Calendar and the List. The Calendar is now more useful for managing work, and the view on the List can be further customized. Teams can now manage tasks on the Calendar and view their work in four different ways. All current customers will be able to access these new features right way, no matter their edition. Sign up for a 30-day free trial to try it out.Introducing an Improved Calendar ViewWe originally designed the Calendar in the new version of the software to let teams view their tasks on a calendar format, but found teams wanted more flexibility on the Calendar.

Our goal was to create a more functional Calendar that was useful for a variety of scenarios, by different team members and types of teams. The Duration and Task Name view lets you see the duration of tasks in a project and how long they will take throughout the month. Due Date and Task Name allows you to see project due dates on a calendar layout and assignee due dates by assignee. Overdue tasks are indicated in the Calendar by an exclamation point. Duration and Assignee can also be used to see if a team member has too much overlapping work.
