Ontario re-opens…again

Article Summary:

The Ontario government has announced the easing of public health measures as hospitalizations and ICU numbers in the province continue to decrease. The gathering limits have been increased and capacity limits for some public places have been removed. Condominium amenities, including gyms, party rooms, and pools, are now allowed to have a maximum of 50 people, regardless of their legal capacity. Boards may impose stricter capacity limits to ensure physical distancing from those outside one's household. Condominium corporations that require proof of vaccination to use indoor amenities may continue to do so after March 1. Mask policies and elevator capacity limits will continue to be enforced. Boards should evaluate and balance unique risk factors and residents' desires to maintain restrictions that are stricter than provincial regulations.
