The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services in Ontario has developed draft regulations to designate the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) as the "condominium authority" and the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) as the "administrative authority" under the amended Condominium Act. The CAO has launched an interim website (www.condoauthorityontario.ca) to provide condo information, mandatory education for condo directors, and administer the Condominium Authority Tribunal. Similarly, the CMRAO has launched an interim website (www.cmrao.ca) to regulate and license condo managers and management providers, maintain a public registry, and handle complaints.
