Licensing updates for Condo Managers

Author:
Publication date:

Article Summary:

In late 2021, all condominium managers in Alberta were required to become licensed by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA), which now governs the condominium industry and sets standards for practitioners. Around 800 Condominium Managers in Alberta have provisional licenses and will need to pass 1 to 3 exams to obtain a full license by the end of 2022. CCI South Alberta has collaborated with CCI North Alberta and AREA to develop courses for these licensees, aiming to increase professionalism in the industry and ensure all managers meet high licensing standards.
