Fob copying services have become a security risk for condo communities, as fobs can now be duplicated in minutes at a nominal cost. Fobs provide a convenient and controllable way to access buildings, but can be abused by unauthorized individuals, posing a security nightmare. Condo rules and declarations may prescribe security measures easily circumvented through fob copying. To ensure the security of the building, condo owners and residents must obtain fobs through the management office, and any duplication or activation outside of the management office should not be permitted.
