False Sense of Security

The article recommends involving local police in security planning and conducting an annual threat and risk assessment. Improving lighting and landscaping, and getting residents involved in security efforts are also recommended. Finally, the article stresses that while it is impossible to guarantee security, condo management has an obligation to reasonably address the threat of criminal activity and to avoid providing residents with a false sense of security.
