Condos vs. Co-ops

This article discusses the challenges faced by seniors living in condominiums, where they may become isolated and have difficulty living independently. The responsibility of providing assistance to elderly residents often falls on condo boards and management, but they may not be required to provide in-suite assistance. To help seniors in need, condo management can maintain lists of emergency contacts, social service agencies, and retirement homes in the area. Condo residents can provide nonmedical assistance and organize social activities to counter loneliness.
