The CMRAO (Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario) enforces the Code of Ethics for condo managers and management companies to ensure professionalism and quality of service. Complaints received by the CMRAO can lead to disciplinary hearings conducted by a panel from the Discipline Committee. If a licensee is found to have violated the Code of Ethics, the Discipline Committee may impose penalties under the Condominium Management Services Act (CMSA). Decisions of the Discipline Committee can be appealed to the CMRAO Appeals Committee by any party involved in the hearing.
