Lunch and Learn Webinar - Condo Governance, Conflicts of Interest and Director Ethics
March 22, 2024
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
The second webinar in our Winter/Spring 2024 Lunch and Learn series is Condo Governance, Conflicts of Interest and Director Ethics on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
The Condominium Act sets up a framework that requires owners to elect a small group of people (Directors) who will be responsible for the governance of the condominium corporation on behalf of all owners. The Condominium Act sets out duties and standards that Directors must fulfill but provides little else by way of guidance. This webinar will discuss the framework for condo governance in Ontario and how Directors must operate within that framework. Also learn what is and what is not considered to be a conflict of interest, as well as the best way to implement a Condo Director Code of Ethics.
Be sure to stay to the end of the webinar to hear our speakers tips for ensuring your condo operates within a good governance model.
Registration is free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, but registration is required.
NOTE: For Condo Managers registered in CMRAO's Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program your attendance at this webinar qualifies for one CPE credit.
