Elevators 101

This educational presentation about elevators is intended for residential building managers (ex: condominiums, apartments). The presentation is based on Ontario regulatory requirements but much of the content would be relevant to other provinces. Some of the topics we will cover:

  • Regulatory maintenance requirements
  • TSSA reporting requirements
  • Code/enforcement changes
  • Industry changes/updates
  • Tips and lessons learned for implementing and managing maintenance programs
  • High-level recommendations for asset renewal
  • Obsolescence
  • Things to watch out for when reviewing maintenance contracts
