How can property managers ensure they are acting ethically while navigating the everyday challenges of their work? This seminar will explore the various ways managers can stay ethical while dealing with conflicting and sometimes unethical demands from their employer, Boards of Directors and residents. Using case studies and engaging discussions, participants will gain an understanding of how to tackle difficukt situations and remain true to what is right.
The course consists of two parts:
Part 1 will take place before the course and consists of pre-study in the form of a workbook and 9 case studies that will challenge participants to contemplate a variety of ethical situations and issues and think about how they might respond to them.
Part 2 will be a live online seminar spent reviewing and discussing the case studies allowing participants to wrestle with the various ethical challenges they face in their everyday roles. Attendees will learn strategies and tactics on how to remain ethical when faced with competing demands and pressure from their employers, boards and residents.
Attendees will receive a reference workbook and case studies to prepare for the course and access to an online quiz that will take place following the live class.
