Granite composite sinks are made of 80% granite and 20% acrylic resin, and are resistant to heat, stains, scratches and chips.

They come in a range of colors, but be aware that lighter composites can stain and darker colors camouflage food scum best. They are prone to stains from waterborne minerals, which can dull the finish over time. If you dent your stainless sink, there is nothing you can do, and your sink will have a dent.
